Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood
Keaton was a “helper” in this long-running children’s show. It was a nice start for the actor and got his face out there. Loving Keaton with long hair.
Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman
“Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman” was an incredibly strange show, but featured a number of stars before they hit it big. Keaton was one of these and his quirkiness seemed to fit perfectly.
One of the first major roles in Keaton’s acting career came in a bit part on the hit sitcom “Maude.” This was a huge deal for Michael and helped propel his legendary career further.
Much Ado About Nothing (1993)
Shakespeare’s magic is once again brought to life by Kenneth Branagh. As with most of his adaptations, this one has an all-star cast, including a young Denzel Washington. Keaton also made an appearance and really got to show off his acting chops.
Inventing the Abbotts (1997)
This one’s somewhat misleading, as Keaton is the film’s narrator. Nonetheless, he’s a driving force in the plot.
Out of Sight (1998)
Keaton reprises his role as Ray Nicolette from “Jackie Brown” in another film based on an Elmore Leonard novel. He stars alongside George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez in this forgotten gem.
As many major entertainment stars had before, Keaton voiced a character on “The Simpsons.” The actor fit in perfectly, with many of us hoping he’d become a regular character.
King of the Hill
Keaton’s cartoon sitcom experience wasn’t merely limited to “The Simpsons” though. Additionally, he made a cameo on “King of the Hill.” These roles really added some freshness to Keaton’s career.
Toy Story 3 (2010)
Animated films were all the rage in the 1990’s, but “Toy Story” upped the ante even further through some of the most incredible visuals we’d ever seen. This was also notable for an extremely intricate and insightful plot. Having Keaton wasn’t a bad touch either.
This one’s almost unfair, as “30 Rock” is pretty much just a show filled with cameos. Notwithstanding, Keaton makes an appearance as himself and laughs it up with Tina Fey and the gang.
